Question about LG VX3300 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Phone is unresponsive

The red light on the side of the phone stays on. If you open the it the screen just says Verizon and none of the buttons work. It just stays "frozen". I took the battery out in order to power it done thinking that that may reset it. No success there. Your thoughts?

Check the back, behind the battery. There is a water indicator decal on the back. Its white, or red if its gotten wet. If not, try a different battery. Best of Luck.

You have done your own diagnostics, the problem is the SIM Card. The information on it, is not compatible with the import version of the phone. Request a replacement SIM. If it still doesn't work, try a SIM from a different carrier.

MY BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000 WON'T TURN ON!!! My friend gave me her Blackberry Bold 9000. It's battery was replaced a few months ago but it hasn't been used since then. When I plug it into the wall charger,...

Ok...don't panic. The charger you are using is not compatible. Verizon only works with verizon blackberry's. Non verizon will not work with blackberry and vice versa. This is what will happen. you plug it in and it will boot for a few seconds and then the lightning bolt you see is the charge icon and then a red line in it means that charger is not compatable. Blackberry does make its own charger but there is a "pin" on the plug in that will tell it it is not the right one. Am I confusing you?

My phone is stuck at the loading screen, and it keeps staying at the verizon booting screen.. i've tried taking out the battery, charging it, and pressing the power button, but none worked. help! my phone...

soohyungi Hi it sounds like the phone was doing a software update and it crash . You may be able to get it working again by taking out the battery but not put back on the phone, Plug the phone into the charger. Next I need you to look at the contacts on the phone see if they have any corrison on them. Now take a clean tooth brush one that hasn't been use. CLEAN the contacts and the charging port area . See if there is any dirt in the phone. If you can't get the phone to work go to a verizon corp store and let them take a look at it for you . Software crashes ocurr when thwe phone is in the middle and someone calls you . Hope this helps

Touchscreen not working buttons working

turning it off doesn't do much if you don't pull out the battery. Turn it off, pull the battery and let it stay out for 45seconds - a minute. then try again. be patient and don't tap the screen until it prompts you.

Blackberry 8330 unresponsive to push any buttons

you know the track ball was white when you first bought it right? the dirt and oil from peoples fingers dirty it up making it unresponsive. the silver plate around the ball pops out. when you get the ball out use an alcohol swab to clean it off. when its dry put it back in. also you should be able to get a replacement ball and plate from verizon. I know sprint usually carries them.

sometimes you just need to take the battery out and put it back in. If you've already done that then you may need to take it to Verizon and get it updated.
