Hi, Give the first unit about 15 minuets and try it again. The pressures have to equalize it the system before it will restart each time the compressor kicks off. The second one sounds like its doing what it needs to do. There should be water on the fins but no ice. Hope this helps. kstfas

The unit is blowing hot air it will blow cool and then make a loud noise and start blowing heat.

Sounds like your ac is kicking out on high limit or internal overload. Several factors come in to play. Outdoor coil fins blocked or bent.
Check temp of compressor.

No heat in F-150 could it be thermastate

-No. not the thermostat. Here there are couple thing that cause the heater not blow hot when you need hot.
1. Water line to the heater core is plug, or the control valve is not open due to broken linkage (Cable).
2. The vent butterfly stuck in cold air position.

Good luck

My 1999 Chevy Malibu runs hot? It started when it overheated. We changed the thermostat, then water pump, then temp sensor gauge and the temp gauge goes high but only when the heater stops blowing hot...

Air pockets will make the guage do that, and also cause your heat to come and go. Also, a poor radiator, as in rotting, or plugged up, will cause high temperature issues.

The air conditioner stopped blowing air. It is still too hot for it to have shut off automatically, When I power it down & turn it back on it makes a noise but won't start blowing the cool air. The...

Your going ot have to shut it down and let it deice. remove the filter and replace it or wash it out . this might take a few hours so leave the indoor fan on it will speed thing up a bit. also set the temp to mid range and close all unused rooms off it has to cycle a bit but really my money is a dirty filter and ice.

AC cools then blows hot air, tempature needle goes up & down

Sounds like the thermostat is trying to stick, and is causing the engine to over heat, therefore condenser is not cooling the freon down enough to cool.Have the thermostat changed and the cooling system bled out, this is most likely the cause.

Outside makes loud noise

I would take a very close look at every solder joint there is between the inside unit and the outside. If you observe oil at any point it indicates a leak at that point. That is an expensive price for what you say was done. Check your invoice for the amount of refrigerant they or he added to the system. Compare it with the amount stated on the outside unit nameplate. Check for frost on the suction (big line) by the outside unit. If there is frost your coil is frozen up. If this is the case turn the fan on and the cooling off. Allow it to run in this manor for about an hour to defrost the A coil. Then return to the cooling mode.

Central ac blowing hot air outside fan not moving but making a noise

This is nothing but an either or -or ! First, make the thermostat calls for cool, there are suppose to be 2- noise outside, the fan motor and the compressor (and if a old system,a humming noise which is the contactor coil which picks up the main 240-volts).. hurry up and take a stick or something and turn the fan blades, if it picks up speed and run, then its the capicator. If not then the fan motor is bad.! (BOTTOM LINE)!

LG refrigerator makes loud noise and then stops running.

You are seriously frozen up. Defrost the unit completely. Then, be aware that 'window shopping', leaving uncovered liquids in the box and poor door sealing (too heavy a load on the door ... too much on shelves) can cause condensation. Defrost with hot air or leave unplugged and open for about 2 days. You'll see alot of water come out.
