Even when all burners are in the off position the automatic ignitor makes the clicking sound as if one of the burners is in the on position.
Is this an ignitor wiring module problem or a problem with one or more of the burners or what?

I too have a cooktop that has the continual clicking of the electric ignitor. I don't have a clue about what to do.

The clicking stops when I turn on the left rear burner. But when I turn it off the igniter starts clicking again.

We just purchased a Jenn-Air gas range, model #JGS8860BDP. The ignitor will not stop clicking, only when the it is turned on. The flame will go on, but when we turn it to low, the clicking starts and is constant. Very annoying! I called the service dept., where we purchased the range, the tech said, "there is nothing wrong with the range. It is most likely a gas pressure problem. Please call your gas company first." I called my gas co., they cannot come out till next week. I am getting very annoyed!!
