Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

When doing quick wash "25 minutes" why does it take an hour?

When I start my quick wash the timer come up and says it will be about 25 minutes. Everything goes well until the last "1 minute left" the 1 minutes take around 25 minutes. I'm wondering if there is a timing problem? usually you should be able to have 2 loads of washed laundry done before the dryer is completed. not in this case though. We are using the washer for business purposes and our washer is making us get behind on produceing patient care.

I RECENTY WORKED ON AN OLDER MACHINE THAT HAS A MECHANICAL TIMER CONTROL THAT YOU TURN TO THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHOICES. THE WASHER WAS STOPPING IN MID WASH FOR NO APPARENT REASON. IT WAS A MAYTAG-NEPTUNE.

INTUITION SAID THE CONTROL HAD DIRTY PHYSICAL CONNECTIONS IN THE TIMER
I SPUN [ TWISTED ] THE TIMER CONTROL KNOB
ABOUT 25 REVOLUTIONS TO THE RIGHT. ALL IS WELL NOW.

I am not sure how to set the time interval in the nap mode. It starts at 2 hours, and I can't change it.

Ok, this is the way it works, and I keep my clock radio for this feature alone. It is a 2 hour "count down" timer. It is set in 15 minute intervals. Supposed you wanted to take a 1/2 hour nap. Press the button but don't let go. As you hold your finger down the timer will start at 2 hours (2.0) and it will then go to 1.45, etc. When you get to a 1/2 hour let go and it will start counting down. If, in the process, you make a mistake, press the blue button and don't let go. Hold it down until it erases the setting and removes the NAP text from the front display. Release button. Start holding down the button again. Once again, the display will go to two hours, continue to press button, it will start counting back in 15 minute increments. Again, when it gets to 1/2 hour, quickly let the button go. As the clock counts down, you cannot see how much time is left on the clock. Press the button, quickly let go again. It will display how much of the 1/2 is left. When the clock counts down to zero, either the alarm will sound or the radio will start playing depending on what you set the alarm to do. Press the off button, that's it... (0:

Timer problems starts washing cycle twice, 48 minutes turn to over to over one hour.

Morning. You don't say the make and model number. From your description it sounds like you have a bad timer, on the older models, and a circuit board for the timer on the newer ones. Hope this helps

Refrigerator not cooling

You model if the ARB1950C has a defrost timer inside the fresh food compartment and behind the temperature control panel. Need to see if you can manualy turn the timer clockwise until the compressor stops. During that time of 25 minutes the freezer should be in defrost. I believe your timer needs replaced based on how you explained what is happening. The part number for your timer is 67001036 and can be found at the links below. If it stays longer that 25 minutes then it's sticking in the defrost section of the defrost timer and will need to be replaced. If your refrigerator does not restart after about 25 minutes then slowly turn the timer through the opening in the plastic cover. There may be a plug covering the hole to make the hole not so visible. If you should have problems fell free to let me know, Thanks Sea Breeze

Frigidaire (LTF2940E) Washer starts, stops, starts, stops...

The cycle doesn't advance When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Washer stops during rinse cycle and isn't easily restartable....

Sounds like the contacts in the timer has a problem. Unplug washer. Remove the back of the washer and spray WD40 in the timer. Put towels around and under to to collect excess runoff.
Rrotate washer dial 25 times and spray some more wd40. Rotate 25 times again. Do a wash load. If it works put everting back together.

Dishwasher keeps running and countdown stalls randomly.

Sounds like The settings have messed up it happened to mine a while back you need to do a hard reset of the dish washer mine was unplugging the thing then plugging back in 30 seconds later then holding the cycle button a few seconds and then power on again. Find your hard reset combination of what your make and model of the dishwasher is I hope this helps.
