Sharp XE-A41S - Customer Support Tool Run-time error '75':

Using a fresh install of the Sharp Customer Support Tool on MS Vista Premium, When I run the software a received the following error

Run-time error '75':
Path/File access error

Any clues? Suggestions?

You have to run the program as administrator. left click on program icon to bring up menu

Sharp xe-a41s register software have a register but do not have the soft ware and sharp does not offer it can you tell me if it can be down loaded from a site somewhere

please open your application through run as option

Error 75 Path/File Access error

You will have to run the program as the Administrator.
Either Right-Click and select "Run as Administrator", or
Right-click, Properties, Compatibility tab, Privilege Level box, check the "Run this program as Administrator" box. (In Windows 7, don't know if the same for Vista or XP.)

No Customer tools disk for my sharp xe-a41s

they have a customer service hotline
1-800-BE-SHARP. The online manual doesn't say anything about the program disk. If you don't have the manual look here: http://www.sharpusa.com/products/TypeManuals/0,1083,111,00.html

yours operating system files would be courpted so kindly format yours machine with windows xp service pack 2 and then watch the performance.

Sharp XE-A203 software compatibility with vista 64-bit

to get the register to communicate with your vista or to even run the customer support tool software you will need to uninstall, reinstall, right click on the icon on your desktop, choose properties,in the compatibility box put a checkmark in the "Run this program as administrator",
everything should operate normal now with no errors
