Four small black ink smudges (1/32" wide x 1/16" high) are in right margin of all documents printed. Starting in upper right corner of page, 1/8" inboard from right edge of paper, they are spaced vertically down the page as follows:
Smudge #1 - 1" down Right Margin (RM)
Smudge #2 - 3" down from #1
Smudge #3 - 3" down from #2
Smudge #4 - 3" down from #3 and 1" up from b/o RM and page. Smudges look to be generated by round object, given their 3" equal distant increments. If so, ink/debis is on a wheel, gear, or cylinder that has a Circumference of +/- 3" and a Dia. of +/- .955".
Also, per Owner's Manual - Maintenance Toolbox instructions - performed 'Clean Printer' function twice, but smudges still present.
Thanks for the help.

Very nice trouble shooting. The image defect you describe point to the OPC or drum unit this is essentially the toner cart. In your case black. Measureing the distance between repetitive defects is a sure way of diagnosing problems such as yours. Again nice work.
Google repetitive defect ruler for your model to help in the future.
Hope this helps
