Epson Printer RX620 Is there anything I can do about clearing a paper jam? The left side want to go through, but not the right side. I am convinced its a machanical problem.

I am getting a paper jam from the side feed tray on about every sixth page. I am feeding #80 card stock.
Everythis looks clean and I can stand there and feed single sheeta all day long. Any Ideas!

The paper roller pick up does the job fine.  The right side paper separator would not allow the paper to enter for printing.  What is wrong please.

cops indicated that his solution for
AcuLaser C1000N... Problem
is valid for all Printers
the most common problem for a paper jam in tray 2 is that either the pick up rollers and separation pads are worn or that there is something stuck to the rollers that transfer the paper up through to trat 1.(most commonly from if people have been printing on stickers/labels) just eyeball it to see if anything looks to be stook and try wiping it off. DO NOT SCRATCH IT OFF as this will only make things worse!!!

This is a common issue if the printer has had a variety of differant types of paper used.
Many times the rollers collect material and when they grab the paper they tend to slightly turn it or redirect it in which this causes tears or a bunching of the paper.
You may have to open the printer up and completely inspect it as many times with the openings for eyesight available you cannont see much.
Usually the problem is a gummed up roller or a small piece of bunched paper thats hard to find.
Give it a THOROUGH cleaning.

my epson cx4600 will not print, the paper is misfed every time and jams the printer. it seems as if the rollers (or maybe only one side) are not grabbing the paper properly. can this be fixed? i am ready to swear off epson printers forever (and i hope they are reading this!!).
