When I turn on my dishwasher, it does absolutely nothing

I have a Viking dishwasher (model, unknown). It was working fine until the other day I went to turn it on and did absolutely nothing. I did notice that there was some water at the bottom of the dishwasher from the last time that it ran. I guess it didn't complete its cycle the last time. Normally, I would hear water, but now, nothing. Even when I turn the dial to different settings (beside normal fill), nothing. I have turned the breaker on and off...again...nothing.

I do not know how old the built-in dishwasher is. It was in the house when I bought it a year and a half ago.

I do have the manual, but I don't see the answer.

Please help!
