Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Samsung SP2504C H.D which is performing way under its rated settings!! under HD Tune benchmark, it scored the following results: Transfer Rate (min) 1.6Mb/sec Transfer Rate (max) 3.9Mb/sec Transfer Rate (ave) 3.9Mb/sec Access Time 14.5ms Burst Rate 4.0Mb/sec SciSoft sandra advises that the drive is using UDMA mode 5 but is capable of UDMA mode 7. The mainboard is gigabyte 965P-DS3P with core2duo 6420 microprocessor 2 gB Kingston dual channel 667 ram Inno3D Geforce 8600GT The Bios is Award. Looking forward to your reply Doug Taylor
Hi, with that system you should realy fly. Could it be that you are running VISTA? This O/S is appears to be a lot slower than the trusty old XP. Regards mistyman
