- Same problem here! Tape eject mechanism only works when the thing is getting juice. My battery's dead, a freshly charged replacement battery doesn't work, and the power port on the unit is damaged and won't accept the power input.Shouldn't there be a 'paperclip hole', like CDs have, that manually ejects the tape when powered eject isn't working?- DaveD4
