Reset Bios Password on a Dell Poweredge 285...

Recently received a used poweredge 2850. Need to change settings in the BIOS but a password is required and I do not have a password. Is there a way to physically reset the BIOS to factory defaults?

This should take care of your issue.


Password Jumper Place the jumper on both pins to enable the password. To disable the password, remove the password jumper.
