When I try to burn a cd, after inserting the blank disk, the E: drive menu doesn't come up like it usually did before to ask me what I wanted to do with the blank disk. I used to have a little menu pop up whenever I inserted a cd, now there's no menu at all.....Is it possible that someone deleted the file?

try right click on "my computer" choose "mange" then click on "disk management" first check to see if you can actually see your E drive there if you can try to change the letter, if you cant that means that you computer isn't recognizing you E drive from some reason, first try what i suggested and let me know.

did you try to check in your bios settings if the hard drive is recognized? do you have only one hard drive or more? if you have one is it divided to sections ?
