2 problems: the camera shuts down like the battery is dead, but the batteries are new. I've tried several sets of batteries...just in case, but no luck. The read battery light starting flashing then it shuts down.
The second problem is with the memory card. I can't find the fuji cradle so I took out the card and put it in a card reader. It says I have to reformat disk but it I do that I'll lose all the data. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tim

- I put new batteries in the camera and as soon as you press the shoot button it turns off lens does not retract you can review the pictures on the memory card but as soon as you press the shoot picture button the camera shuts off I thought it was a battery problem but a 4 pack of new batteries later same problem if you could please help it would be greatly appreciated.Joan
