Printing incorrect letters

It appears that someone has set my typewriter to print an alternate character set..possibly Russian. I need to know how to correct this.

-   We are having the same problem. Lots of words that look like: *&UYJH$#@> or similar.-   KE_TSILVER

Check the pitck selector slide switch it may be in PS this will give you that problem.
