Wire Problem

I have a Belkin f8e836eaUSB-GLO. i overstrecthed the wire and now i have to fiddle with the wire to get it to work. So i have taken a usb lead off an old crappy mouse. and i need to know which order the colour wires need to be soldered on.

Both Belkin and old mouse if compatible will have the universal plug so you may compare the wires first for their exact connection points on the belkin and mouse. If the points are same then irrespective of the colour code solder the points in the same order.If you are not sure of the comparison you have made then get assistance of the qualified service engineer to fix the problem.
