Problem for Canon PowerShot SD870 IS Digital Camera

I get a "save folder not found" message when I try to download pi

I have a Canon SD870 IS power shot. I have always been able to download pix to my pc. Now when I try, I get the save folder not found message. I have reloaded the software that came with the camera. Do I need new software from Canon? This happened after downloading Microsoft Office Word '07. I'm not sure if it is related to this.
