My dual xdvd110bt radio is displaying a white screen and there is no audio or visual. What's wrong?

Soynds like you have a bad unit. Sound is produced by the amp in the radio. It could be bad or you could have a blown speaker. Sometimes if a speaker blows it will act like a ground causing you to lose sound. Check all your speakers. If you dont have a factory amp in the car the amp in the radio is bad. As far as the screen goes the ribbon cable that carries the signal to the screen is probably bad. They are notorious for cracking on the edges. If you have the capability of doing a double din i recommend getting those instead. No moving screen means no ribbon to break

Most likely the laser lens is dirty, take the cover off and clean the lens (soft paper towel and window cleaner is fine) then visually inspect whats going on as you insert a disc(no scratched-up ones). If you still have a problem then it maybe the motor(possibly one of the small bands has popped.)

Stereo will not play sound when CD is inserted. tuner works fine and the stereo says the cd is playing but there is no sound... HELP!!!

hello sir hi, If the CD is playing, but is no sound coming out from the player, this may be the likely trouble. sorry there are no quick fix for this.
  • check for selector switch contact, a faulty switch with poor contact does not connect the correct circuit where the signal of the CD should go to be amplified.
  • dirty or loose CD lens contact, a visual circuit inspection is needed here.
  • signal break from the CD lens to the power amplifier is needed to be checked, this requires to be checked by a technician with an oscilloscope to trace where the signal got lost. this is the best way to find the trouble.
  • The spindle is not spinning or spinning fast to properly read the disk. OR
  • Bring it to a Car stereo dealer and ask for service. They have in-house tech guys to analyse the trouble.
If the price of service is higher or very close to a new one, i guess its time to buy one.

Front panel buttons don't work

Try some of that really good electronic spray contact cleaner. Did you accidentally spill something on it or it got wet somehow? Please rate me

Hands free phone stopped working

When I had this problem, I just held down the reset button on the face underneath the volume knob (look in the manual if you can't find it).  It erased all of my visualization preferences, date, and time settings, but kept everything else and now my bluetooth works again.  I hope this isn't something that happens often, cause it will get annoying to constantly be resetting the date/time and other stuff.

One of the replies from another 'helper' hit it on the money with a different model. You need to press & hold (in off position) the # 6 button for demo. Once the demo starts, a choice for inverted display will suggest to press #5 to turn off or on. At that time you will be able to correct your problem as I have. I had to do it twice because I was driving at the time, which I don't suggest , when I remembered the advice , lo and behold, it worked . Thank you other replier for that tip.

Stopped working

Try getting in your car and turning on all of your accecories like windsheild wipers interior light turn signals ect.if other accesories are not working locate your fuse panel and look for a fuse that corresponds to an accesorie that is not working ,replace it and it should work.If the cd player is an aftermarket cd then they have an inline fuse on the back of the unit either directly plugged into the stereo or it there will be a fuse in one of the power wires.replace if blown and you should be fine,Rate me FIXYA! if this helps.GOOD LUCK.
