Bosch SHU3306UC dishwasher stopped (by 6 users)

posted by davemo on Sep 04, 2007

Have 6 year old Bosch dishwasher that is an under-the-counter model. Before the dishwasher stopped working on Sunday, we had two electrical outlets along the same wall as the dishwasher that stopped working by Thursday or Friday of last week. On SUnday evening we noticed that the dishwasher didn't work. Curcuit breakers did not "pop", all was OK witht he circuit breakers.

Had an electrician in today who fixed the electrical outlets. He checked that there is power getting to the dishwasher but he is not a dishwasher repairman. that is scheduled for tomorrow. Reset circuit breaker for the dishwasher after electrician fixed the outlets. Dishwasher still doesn't work .

Any suggestions?

We have the SHU3306UC...about 6 years old...had clogged water pipes last night during the wash cycle. Turned the dishwashed off until pipes were clear. Now dishwasher just makes noise like it's working but no water, no arms moving, nothing.
Can I reset the dishwasher to start over ? If so, how ?

Have Bosch shu5305uc/uc12. We had a power serge (from Commonweath Edison) and my built in stopped in the middle of a cycle. Panel electronic lights went out.

The electrician checked panel, circuits, etc. Control panel circuit breaker did not pop.

After looking at the dishwasher, which was "trapped" by a later model floor put in, electrician remove door panel and accessed controls. Fixed fried and misplaced wire.

Now I have electricity--but the dw still doesn't work. No water comes into the machine.

The electricain did not turn the water off before he worked on the machine.

Help!? JB

My SHU3306UC built-in dishwasher stopped in the middle of its wash cycle a couple days ago. We cannot turn it back on. The circuit breaker is fine. All other outlets in the vicinity of the dishwasher seem to operate fine. Any help would be appreciated.

dave...why did the breakers pop? Sometimes, this is caused by a floating ground...the voltage from the other side of the line comes across and starts to fry things like circuit boards. What did the electrician do? Did he check the connection at the dishwasher itself?
