turn on/off, unplug, wait a minute, plug back in, should reset.
go to application folder for your computer, dbl click icon for make of printer, for settings, check to ensure everything is order. go to the scanner settings.

I think this is a paper size error code. Im not sure how to overcome it. Try reinstalling the driver and/or see if HP has a updated driver for your 1610v
START - CONTROL PANEL - PRINTERS AND FAXS - ADD A PRINTER. Follow promps . When ask if you have the install CD say
no. Tell it where the driver is located.
Click on the link to download the software for HP PSC 1610v All-in-One Printer. Select the operating system of your computer first then click on the software/driver.
