Question about OKI C9500dxn Led Printer
My oki c9500 printer makes some very loud disturbing noises when printing. The prints are fine, but it is too loud to use and I fear damaging the printer by continuing to use it when it is making this noise. I have searched online for info to see if anyone else has had a similar problem, but nothing. I think it is the transfer belt, but I can't be sure. Can you help?
The sound is most probably from one (or more) of the drum units. You can check by taking them out and trying to run the visible gears by hand. If you have spare drums, change them one at a time until you find the defective one.
