Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Sorry about your problem dude. I've had my psp for over a year now and I think youre answer to this problem is you need to system upgrade your psp. now this is rather easy to do but sometimes it takes a couple of tries.#1.you need to find A wireless hub,I found mine at the local library, but there are other places such as Mc Donalds or youre local starbucks.#2.you need to turn your wlan swich to the on position.this is found on your left hand bottom corner of the psp.#3.Go into Settings and look for Network Update click on it and go to[New Connection]click on that and go to scan. If done corectly your psp should detect a later verson of the system soft ware click yes to download. After this is done.go into saved data utility and look for system upgrade.now if done corectly your psp will tell you not to turn off or remoove memory stick.the download loads for about ten or fifteen minuits and once this is done youre psp should recodnize your camrea.Enjoy!!

Ok it sounds as if your friend has bricked your PSP. Please be careful when you are updating your PSP as this will brick your PSP. Let me give you a quick overview of what happens when your PSP updates, first of all your PSP will erase it's operating system and write a new Operating system, this is why it will not turn on completely if you lose power while it's updating. ONLY UPDATE YOUR PSP IF IT'S COMPLETELY CHARGED AND PLUGGED IN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I will not post the solution to this problem for it is too long to post up here, YouTube has many videos on how to un-brick your PSP. Best of luck, for the solution you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery. Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light, If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp. If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment. Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....
