Problem for Airlink AR430W Wireless Router
Installing a wireless router to a ADSL modem
I have been trying to connect an Airlink101 AR670W to the modem. As soon I establish the communication, the modem turns disable and fail to work. I proceed to install the router config, and it continues to be unrecognized. I check on the Web for the modem drivers and have not found them. It has also unconfigure the cmd. When I enter the instruction "Ping ..." (or any one), the PC returns a message; "Ping is and unrecognized command..."

A whole lotta things could be wrong. How are you configuring the router? What IP address does your modem have? Did you configure the router with an IP address that doesn't conflict with the modem, like two devices NOT on .1? Ping is usually turned off in a router, did you turn it on? How are you pinging? It's tough to solve a problem with only half the information. Who's the ISP? Try to be a little more specific.
