if its a philips or magnavox the protection resistors should be 1.8 ohm and 1/2 watt. They are in pairs and if white in the middle and open it means both convergence chips also need to be replaced.

check resistors around convergence i.c.(red) philips may use 2 resistors in parallell. should be about 1.8 ohms. assuming you already changed the i.c.

You need to replace your STKs Big black ICs 392-020 replace both of them also check 2 resistors 2,7 ohms they may be open.this is a common repair iob.

This means you do have some bad resistors low ohms 2.7 most of the time its only 2 of them depends on how long you played set before replacing STKs .

yes your model has the 6.8 ohm 1watt resistors there are 11 of them often marked as 6R8 1wJ instead of color bands. They are resistors 3149 through 3160 you can get replacement resistors at the following link.

A sign that amps are going bad, right now you can check resistors in convergence board alongside the amps, check resistance to see if right.

You will most likely need to have the convergence circuit repaired. Not an uncommon failure with CRT projection televisions. Go into your menus first and check the convergence settings and see what happens.
