Question about Microwave Ovens
The line fuse went out, and I replaced a new one. I turned on the microwave, and it ran for about a second; the new fuse was also blown. What could be causing the fuse to blow?
If the fuse blows as soon as you hit START, then it's likely that you have a shorted high-voltage capacitor. If the fuse blows a few seconds after you hit START, then it's likely that you have an overheating / shorting high-voltage transformer.
