I have a 50 inch Panasonic model number TH50PZ77U and the HD don't work, but the digital is great. Suddenlink Cable said it was in my set and then I switched to Direct and they coyldn't get HD either and we even replaced the HDMI and moved the HD receiver to other HD TV's and they worked. Trouble seems to be in the set itself. It has always worked and then went out

SOURCE: Panasonic 50 inch Plasma

it could have over heated you can try to reset it first unplug it for about five minutes and try to turn it on if that dont work the remote might have a set button try holding that down until the red light flashes twice, then turn it on if not then hold the power button down on the set for a good five seconds to see if that resets it. if none of that works you will have to go to panasonic .com for the reset instructions.with the red light blinking the power supply is most likely good you just need to reset i.

I can confirm that replacing these 4 capacitors worked perfectly. I work in construction so i am not a technician or anything. I did not even have a solder iron. I have photos of the board if anyone would like to see them. Took me about a hour to replace the 4. I had to use (2)35volt & (2)50volt cause radio shack only had 2 of each and it works like a charm. This TV has been in storage for 6 months until i found this article on the problem. Cant say thanks enough!!!!!!!!!!

SOURCE: PS3 not working on reg tv's after HDMI use on LCD HD tv

Shelley,  the fix for this is simple! Hold down the power button for about 5 seconds and the system will beep. This resets the video setting for your ps3 from HD too whatever the current cables are that you are using too hook up too the tv. This works on my PS3 which I just bought about 3 months ago and should work with the older ones.

We have the 27 inch 1080p (Model HSG 1075). We are with Suddenlink as our service provider who recently went to digital programming. However, we are now having problems with the channels display, which...

Hi - My name is Tina and I am with Suddenlink. Are you receiving your channels over the air (without a cable box)? If so, that is the way they are broadcast over the air in digital/high definition from the broadcasters and without converting them (with a cable box) there isn't anything that can be done to fix this issue. If you add a cable box to your set, then the box can convert the channels without the dashes. Plase feel free to contact me directly at tina-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com for further assistance. Thank you.

My 50 inch hitachi hd projection tv picture won't

This T.V. more than likely has a bad lamp. I don't know the model number so look up on ebay for a lamp replacement by model number after you inspect it and find it to look cloudy or exploded.

I just hooked up a Time Warner Cable 4250HD Box via HDMI to DVI cable to a 50 inch Sony Grand Wega. The problem is on some channels the bottom of the screen (like a news crawl) gets cut off. This happens...

You need to make sure that the settings on your TV for the DVI connection are set properly. It sounds as if it is set to stretch or zoom. The reason the HD channels look great is that they dont zoom because the resolution fills up the entire screen without stretching.

I know you want to use your HDMI cables, but since you are going HDMI to DVI you are removing the benefit of the single cable since you still have to use audio cables. You are not going to get any appreciable difference between the setup yo uare using and the component (red, green, blue) cable.

If I have helped you, please rate me as such. It allows me to help others. Thank you.

How do I set up model 50v500 hitachi tv to receive hd

You have to have an hd cable box it is different from your run of the mill digital cable box. Most people rent them from their cable provider. This will enable you to get HD channels through them

Setting up a Yamaha RX-V690 home theater system

you almost have the exact same situation i am in. i have the same receiver, and going to purchase a panasonic 50" (th50px75u). i think what i will be doing is running a hdmi from my hd cable box to my tv, and installing an audio cable (red/white) from my tv to the receiver. i believe there is an audio input below the hdmi insert. i have polk audio, but theyare about 10 years old, they sound great, but just too large....and may be purchasing a harman kardon system. which models do you have from polk? i have the rt16's, cs350ls center, and fx/500 rears. let me know what you have come up with as well...as it has been a while since you posted this.

cheers,
sean
