Question about Kenmore 64952 Electric Dryer
Whether it is a plastic vent or an aluminum vent hose - you don't need to worry about heat. you do have a problem if it is really, really bent at an angle. the overall inside diameter is substantially reduced. lint that comes out of the dryer will catch at the ninety angle and clog. how obtrusive would it be if you maintain a four inch clearance at the rear of the dryer?

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have not taken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then you need to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should take place. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causes for your dryer to fail.
