Veo obserser network camera not working

Trying to setup camera..but when i try to connect/login..i get error message: that says webpage cannot be found....

    Don't have the serial cable. Please help!

Normal 0 Did you install the software with the camera connected to the computer? Disconnect the camera from the USB port and reinstall the software. When the program asks you to connect the camera, do so, and it should work. Hope this is of some help. Bud

Below is info for setting up Audio & Video to chat on line after you install , either Skype or a messenger program.


Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:

  1. Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  2. Then click on the Video Settings.
  3. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture.
  4. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:

  1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
  2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
  3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

  1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
  2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
  3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
  4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.
NOTE: You audio and video shoud work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

try one of the solutions given below 1.If facebook is the only website that is not loading or is showing a error then there might be some kind a browsing problem on your server .Don't worry you don't need to do anything just wait for some time it will be solved automatically.Actually some times the connection of your server fails with the server of the website. you can even re check by :- go to run and ping facebook.com -t in the box and hit ok check if there is continuous response from the server if the reply is not continuous try after some time there is browsing problem with your server in that case.
2.If none of the websites are opening then there is a problem with your network connection may be your server is down,LAN has limited connectivity which does not reaches qualify to the bandwidth of the website you are trying to view.Contact Your ISP in that case they will assist you with something.

My itouch says its connected but wont open any webpages


Please follow the steps below to login to the router page and check the network key:
make sure that other wireless device is working fine,if it is working fine then you can try these steps

1. Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari).
2. Access the router, usually by typing 'http://192.168.0.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar.
3. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive).
4. Click on Wireless Settings'(under Setup) from the left menu.
5. Changed SSID(network name)and changed security
6. click on wireless setting'(under advanced)
7. click on SETUP ACCESS LIST (Turn Access Control On)it should be unchecked
then try to connect wirelessly

"I receive an error message" (sic) What is it exactly, what happens? Also Install everything as Administrator, ALSO set the setup/install program's .exe in, Compatibility Mode for XP SP2. and Run the actual program's .exe as Administrator, too. Ensure all network settings are correct too.

Receive error code when trying to take snap shot with VeoAdvanced

""Click on Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs and uninstall the Veo Stingray software driver. Also, uninstall the Veo Digital Studio.
Unplug the Veo Stingray from the computer.
IMPORTANT! If you are connected to the Internet (such as through a dial-up modem or cable modem/DSL) log off from your Internet Service Provider and disconnect any telephone cords or Ethernet/Network cables from your computer. This will prevent Microsoft Windows Update from attempting to update your Veo Stingray software driver through Microsoft Windows Update.
Place your Veo Stingray CD ROM into your computer.
Click on Start->My Computer. Look for your Veo Stingray CD ROM drive.
Right-click on the Veo Stingray CD ROM icon and then select Open.
Go to the E:DRIVERSAPPBIN folder and double-click on a file named cleanup. (You can also download the cleanup file from: ftp://home.fiasj.net/xirlink/ibm/ibmcleanup.exe)
In the cleanup program, press the "Scan and Delete" button in order for it to begin.
After the cleanup program has finished, click the "Exit" button and restart the computer.
Reinstall the Veo Stingray from the CD ROM, restart the computer, and plug in the camera after the computer has restarted.
After the Veo Stingray has finished installing, try the Veo Digital Studio program again and click the "Take a Snapshot" button.
If it works, you can reconnect your telephone cord or Ethernet/Network cable to your computer. Microsoft Windows Update will not attempt to update the Veo Stingray driver again."

It might also be a java problem, go to Add/Remove Programs, uninstall all versions of Java, and try reinstalling."

No Wireless Camera Not Found


While you had it plugged in the serial port you should have set the SSID name for the camera? You may have to enter this manually to find the camera. If it is not set to broadcast this SSID, it will work but you must put it in the wireless connection settings.

Make sure that you are using Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. If you are experiencing problems, try upgrading to the latest version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer from the Microsoft webpage at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie Method A: 1) Go to C:\Program Files\Veo Observer Studio and delete the files: xrlknc.dll and xrlkncd.dll. 2) After the files have been deleted, try using the Veo Observer Studio again. --or-- Method B: 1) Uninstall the Veo Observer Studio from your computer. 2) Download the latest version of the Veo Observer Studio from our webpage at: http://www.veo.com/Observer/firmware.asp if it still has the same promblem refer to your display or the grafix recommendations
