Can't Insert the tape

When I try to Insert the tape in to my external Iomega Rev. It keeps coming out

If a white colored pin is broken in the drive it will eject. The pin engages the locking mechanism.

you might have finalised the disc on the first burn or you have not selected to burn a multisession disk

Write protected zip disk

you can always try to format and delete all the data, then recover it, recuva can help you recover it, its free from but that would be last resort

REV 120 freezes windows explorer in windows 2003

I have had this problem and found it to be the tapes are the cause.
Last week this same problem happened and 8 out of 10 tapes are causing this freezing suddenly. the other 2 work fine and brand new tapes work fine too.

Can't read specific Zip 100MB Diskette

Its probably a bad disk. The only way I have been able to fix these is to First launch disk utility THEN put the disk in. THEN run the utility. You have to do it in this order. The key thing here is utility has to be running first and then insert the disk "HOT"

Can not eject zip disk

I have the imoga 100 external zip drive and there's a pin hole on the front panel. that if you straighten a paper clip and stick in the whole, it should manually eject the disk.

can you try reformatting that? it may readily upgrade itslef after reformatting it.

Not able to access the Jaz Disk

Iomega has quite a bit of customer help info: Click: Other Products Then Click: JAZ 2GB Then Click: Windows XP Then Click: More Answers... Then type in "search text" area: "insert a disk" Then Click: Search Then Click: "Please insert a disk into drive X" error message when inserting or trying to read an Iomega disk If that website's search engine doesn't help, you can also log into: and ask the tech support people there.
