Huh??? According to my parts manual you need an "2YFD" belt. ereplacementparts.com has it for $3.88 be sure to check that this is the belt you want BEFORE ordering it.
Sears should have it. How do you know Sears does NOT sell this part?

There are three different belts for that model. I am guessing you need the drive belt which is an A-A33K - 1/2" x 35 size belt.

could be the carraige release button on the carraige is stuck down (pull it back up). Otherwise the mach. is stuck in "tab" mode or the escapement (the mechanism that hold the carraige in place and lets it advance 1 space at a time) is FUBAR'ed, in eithor case it would need professional help.

The part number for this belt is STD303310 and is available from Sears for $4.49. I would almost bet you that any good door opener service company in the yellow pages would have one on the shelf.
