Re: ATI Radeon IGP 345 GRAPHIC CARD, 128MB

You will most likely need to update the drivers for the video card to be recognized by Vista.

I had problems with my monitor. I am purchasing a new monitor. When the new monitor is connected to the computer does the BIOS default setting adjust to the new monitor? I am just a computer user not,...

Sometimes the BIOS doesn't display properly on the widescreen monitors if your video card was built before widescreen monitors were acceptable. I have an old ATI Radeon video card from 2006 and it cuts off the BIOS setup screen when setup. If a 640 X 480 monitor was plugged it, the problem would go away. The graphic drivers aren't going to initialize in your computer until the computer is booted which compensate for the current resolution settings.

Another solution is to see if you have a BIOS upgrade available for your computer that will create a resolution and refresh rate that will work for your monitor.

I have sapphire ati radeon 5570 graphics card. i have aoc 912sw+ 19 inch lcd monitor. how to connect hdmi port of graphics card with monitor?

the HDMI port is for connecting video and sound to a home theatre / surround sound system. I understand that this monitor only has a VGA connector.

The sapphire ati radeon 5570 graphics card has the following ports on the back to connect to a display: DVI (white), VGA (blue) and DisplayPort (the thin slot in the middle). You can use an ordinary VGA cable to connect the card to your monitor.

Unfortunately you cannot connect this card directly to your monitor using the DisplayPort.

Hope this helps

Frequency out of range

the monitors resolution range is only to 1280X740 or 780
and your video card may also need an upgrade.
The game may require a higher resolution that is not compatible with the the devices mentioned.

Blurred pictures on monitor

The problem is not the monitor, it is the display adapter (Video card) of your system needs a valid Vista driver. (NVidia, ATI and Intel are the 3 largest Graphic card manufacturers) Monitor drivers are almost never needed except on some advanced large LCDs.

You said up upgraded to Vista, did you use a Vista upgrade DVD or just perform a clean installation of Vista? Have you installed Vista Chipset drivers? The chipset and Graphics drivres may not be native to Vista, you may need to install them.
