Linksys

I use Linksys to connect to a DSL internet service in my home. One night I left it on and didn't shut down. The next morning my computer was incredibly slow. When I finally logged in I found under applications in my Windows task manager that my linksys was using 99% of my CPU, so I just deleted linksys after an hour from the control panel. My computer went back to normal but now I dont have internet. When I tried to reload it on my computer, it just did the same thing. I have plenty of RAM and Space on my drives so I know it's not that. I think it's a virus.
