Power of the wall socket first. Unscrew the shock or 'damper' completely as it is known, noting position, head tail. Test it, it should not be pumping very loose, if so you should replace it. Otherwise just put it back in and tighten the bolts well.

My GHW9100LW2 Duet washer seems to have the drum locked to where it will not spin at all. I have checked the belt and removed it, the motor works fine. Do I need to replace the bearings, and if so, how is that done?

My front loading washing machine, GHW9100LW2, Serial# CSR2103781 (purchased in July 2004),has started to stop in mid cycle and throw an F 11 signal, and the door will not open. If I cancel the cycle, re-set to Spin and restart it, it then completes the wash. However when the next load is installed the same glitch repeats itself. Can I program it out by perhaps changing cycle preferences or some other method??
