Panasonic lumix dmc lz2

Hi camera had been working fine until last week, when all the pictures and video are all badly under exposed. Have tried changing settings, and modes with same results. No external indication of damage. Is this worth fixing? thanks, Gary

Is the image clear but just overexposed or is it distorted as well ? If it is the latter then you have a faulty CCD sensor outputting bad image and will get worse pretty quickly. Get a quote to have anew sensor put in but try to get it done free of charge . If you go this route the camera should go to Panasonic agent.

How do I get the date stamp to show up on the picture DMC Lz2

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Problem with over-exposed photos

My suggestion is to try to reset to factory settings.

You may have accidently affected an exposure timing setting.

Or just try to use it in an automatic mode.

I sounds like a setting, since indoor flash pics are good, as you say.

Nikon coolpix camera has lines

Hi,

You no need to fix this problem. This is a CCD failure and in some cases had been subject to a recall. Contact Nikon support-this may be one of the recalls and replacement camera could be on its way. They will do it for free of cost.

Thank you !!

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 able to download to ipod

Not directly. You can download the pictures to a computer, then upload them to your iPod. If you connect the iPod and the camera or its memory card, you can transfer the pictures from one to the other without storing them on the computer.

Camera over-exposes all pics, and the =/- button does not work.

hi

the Exposure button will generally be disabled in auto mode

try changing it to 'P' (Program) mode and then change the exposure by pressing the +/- button and then you would generally see a scale on the LCD now press the left button to decrease the exposure

better more is to reset the camera to the default settings this would set the aperture, shutter, Exposure, LCD brightness and otehr settings to defaults and this would save from any unwanted changes than required

cheers
pls rate if it was any help
