Question about Frigidaire GLEB27S7A Electric Single Oven
Select auto clean and after 1 1/2 minutes the F5 comes in the display. Oven door will not auto latch. Has worked great for 11 years. Can I fix myself ?
F5 is an error with the door latch, though the fact that it won't auto-latch may have tipped you off to that. The latch should be a replaceable part. First, check to see if it's just a bent latch. If so, you can probably bend it back with a pair of pliers, and you're done. If not, you can order a new latch assembly here: http://www.repairclinic.com/SmartSearch/SSPartDetail.aspx?PartID=589939&PPStack=1 Or, if you're not comfortable dismantling it, it shouldn't be that expensive of a repair, if you find an honest shop.
