Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
I am facing a strange and intriguing problem on my acer travelmate 2350 laptop. After bootup of windows xp, no keys on the keyboard work. On some rare occasions, the keys are found to work, with the exception of the function key and some other keys. For example, when the '5' key is pressed this combination appears and keeps repeating:
It could be the sensors are damaged under the keys, but hopefully its just the driver. Right click on my computer icon and click properties and then the hardware tab, then device manager and look down the list for keyboard. Click the + sign and then right click on your keyboard under that and select uninstal. Restart the notebook and it will reinstall itself and hopfully work as it should do, if not then the keyboard itself is damaged in some way.
