Hi,
Check that the equalizer settings are what you want when you are playing audio using a BT connection.
The user manual states that the settings are memorized for each source i.e. tuner, BT and CD, which I assume means that it can be set differently for each input type to suit what you want
Looking at the user manual on page 13, you have to purchase and connect the XMD1000 module to in order to get the satellite radio service. If the module is installed, you'll get a display telling you to sign up for service.
You will need to get the XM add-on that Panasonic makes in order to get the functionality I think you are trying to get. With an external radio, you could hook it into an Aux to get sound, but you would not have the options to change channels from the Panasonic. In order to do that, you will have to buy their add-on. I have a separate Sirius Radio, and I prefer it that way because the display is so much easier to read.
You do not need a code to play CD's in a Panasonic CQ-C7301U. The player handles the standard CD format and also plays burned CD's in WMA or MP3 formats. However, burned CD's in WMA format that contain copyrighted music are not playable. In this case the display will show "PROTECTED".
If you using external amplifiers with you system;check your remote wires.
You may be using the wrong remote wire to turn you amp on.
There are two remote wires, one is for pwr ANTENNA(BLUE ONLY),this wire cut the pwr out when you insert a cd.
The other wire is the REMOTE TURN ON(BLUE/WHITE STRIPE)this is the one you need to connect to the you amp.
LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS.
