There are a couple of things that you can try...
1. Setup on Monitor..: check on monitor menu, if the feature auto adj are enable,.try to Reset setting and resetting your display.
2. On windows(xp) desktop click Start > All programs > Startup... See for apps has executed for starting window. if you see "Adobe Gamma Loader" installed, maybe you haven't to saved your gamma/bright setting (it also happen when the first time installing adobe reader/photoshop, etc) you can resetting by "right" click on desktop > properties > click on Setting tab > click advance > Color management. after done, click apply then ok.
if The picture on monitor is upside, do resetting on monitor menu, > select V POSITION. (Vertical)
Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back should you need additional information.

Go to My Computer and right click Local Disk (C):
Go to properties and click on the tab Tools. Press Check Now on error-checking and check the top box to have a disk checkup during startup. Click yes to the question for schedule and then restart your computer and wait for the window to fix any system errors. hope this will help.
