Yes this is possible you can turn off the fire wall or you can open up the port your down loading program uses to communicate with its peers. in the menu I believe you will find a tab for port forwarding. They may even list the program you are using. in any event here is a link on port forwarding that may help: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Actiontec/GT704-WGv2/BitTorrent.htm Subsittute your ports for the one on the web page and you should be connected in no time.
