I am unable to transfer pictures from my camera to my computer. when i connect the camer and computer to the USB port and turn the camera on nothing happens. In the past a window would pop up and you could...

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Canon ZoomBrowser or any other photo cataloging program.

You don't only need the usb cord to transfer pictures to your phone.Firstly, you have to download the sony ericsson pc suite to your computer.Check if you have the sony ericsson pc suite or carry out a search on google with topic "sony ericsson pc suite download".After the download you can connect the phone to your computer through the usb cable. Then click on tranfer files on your phone then all the pictures will be transferred immediately.

Make sure photo files name must be under DSC00001 to DSC99999
