Gps seems to be lagging and incorrect

when i go over 40 mph my nav freezes but once i go below 40 its fine but most of the time my car position on the map is totally out of wack... how do i fix this problem?

Apprenticei believe you have to reset the calibration and when ou calibrate it the average speed i how fast the arrow will go
