- TV can be truned on red flashing light on timer indicator, no picture or sound. TV was working wonderfully and Bam, we had watched a movie, turned off TV, then hours later went to watch news..and this happened..Help! TV is 3 years new, no wire issues, did all the ssuggested trouble shooting and still no go, evben changed batteries in remote.. unpluged reconnected, blonde thought was maybe like a computer, but no go! Adult home, no kids, use is minimul, maybe 3 hours a week..have 4 TV's in home and this is least used..But daily neew is watched..Mahalo Nui Loa Jill Weiss- Jillsie

Check out a power cord to replace the current one in place, if that doesnt work then have a service center take a look at it since it appears there is something going on internal if that power cord doesnt fix it simply

I have the same problem. Anyone out there have a clue what to do??? Panasonic people are not helpful...If they think it's not the lamp they send you to a certified panasonic repairman. Min $150 to look at it...Such bull...! And if they had to come over and look at it extra $60

We did this as there a few computer sharp friends that were here..all cordds are fine..wallsocket was also tested.

- NO help at all from the Gal that said to get service, anyone can do that..Akai is lousy from what I can see..everyone looses after about three years on this model..and no customer service on the web for this company!What a farce!
