Question about Kenmore 63822 / 63824 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
For the Kenmore, keep pushing the button and it should cycle back to the top of the temperature range.

I have the Samsung RS2534 side by side and I read that in order to save energy the refrigerator temperature needs to be between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit and the freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit so I tried to make the changes but it keeps moving back to 34 for the frig and -4 for the freezer which is too cold and uses more energy.
How do I reset the temperature and get it to stay where I want it. I already tried holding down the child lock button and the temperature still moves back to 34 and 0.
Anyone fixed this?? I have the same issue with the Kenmore Elite 596.7857 series French door style unit. If I could just reset to factory default at least then it would allow me to raise have a higher temp. It appears the button is broken.
