Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T1 Digital Camera

Blurry, streaked picture through view finder

Two days ago I was taking photos of a house for listing a property. Two days later, the camera isn't functioning properly. When you look through the LCD display, all images are blurry or streaked as if quickly moving the camera. It is as if the focus isn't working anymore, I'm not sure. Please let me know if you can assist, thank you very much. Marty positiveone4all@aol.com

My Cyber-Shot DSC-T1 was taking perfect pictures a couple of days ago. Now the screen and photos is like looking at one of those flowing sand frames. Any suggestions???

Good Day, is the blurry picture pinkish in color? It might be an imager(CCD) problem, you can check it at sony support website, if it qualifies, just read the provisions, I will not comment on the policy, maybe it differ from country to country, i'm here in the philippines. thanks

When I look through the viewfinder on my Nikon D40x it is blurry and looks out of focus, but when but after I take the picture it is clear on the lcd screen. Is there a setting I can change or is something...

Adjust view finder focus as you will see setting there, to view correct focus in view finder itself.
Camera is just fine because it is taking good focus pictures.

All of a sudden everything is out of focus and very blurry, pictures and even through the view finder. we took a few pics tht turned out normal, set the camera down picked it up about 5-10 minutes later...

If the viewfinder is also blurry, it might be as simple as a smudge on the lens. Is the blur uniform and consistent on the pictures and in the viewfinder? Was there a curious dog nearby when you set the camera down?:)

View finder

Ok. On your viewfinder, there might be a round dial. Turn it to adjust focus. Otherwise, sometimes viewfinders are like that... blurry, especially electronic.

You probably got some condensation on the lens from going in and outside. You should be able to go to a Wolf Camera or similar store and have it cleaned.
