Drivers for canon pixma ip6210d

You need to power cycle the printer by unplugging the power cable from the back of the printer if it still does not resolve the issue, you can try changing the power cable and if not get it checked could be hardware issue.

Go to this link and select your OS from the pull down menu and download the driver for your printer.

Install the drivers from the file you downloaded. Disconnect your printer until the software tells you to connect or until it is completed, then connect your printer and the drivers should load automatically.

Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.

Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .

Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.

I have MP780 (print, scan, copy, and fax).  The released file mp780vst620en.exe does not install the multifunction MP780 correctly. 
 
 
Does anyone know work around, please?

You can go ahead and click on the link that says Download Canon PIXMA iP6210D Easy-PhotoPrint v.3.61 driver. Just a heads up that I would not connect the printer to the computer until it asks you to during the driver installation.

when running the installation cd you will be prompted to choose what type of operating system are you using, you must choose correctly on your specifications.Yes, you may download a driver for windows vista for your printer on the printers company website or other driver download sites.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Aweb page will open, follow instructions, select model, then operative system etc.,go to next page twice, find file, and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,find thefile,double click on the file with the mouse, ifyou get in troubles,then follow instructions below to reset andreinstall:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website and run the file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista

This printer is supposed to work on Vista, just download the driver at the bottom of the page.

I had this problem: I took out a cartridg to physically clean it, and when I replaced it it said "the ink level cannot be determined, etc, press OK to continue without this function. Use only genuine Canon cartridges, etc"
I kept clicking OK to the dialogue box, and it just reappeared. Then I pressed the OK button ON THE PRINTER which allowed me to continue using the cartridge but without an ink level indication which is fine by me: at least you can drain the cartridge unlike the latest Epsons.
