Universal remote I can not find the universal remote code for my Memorex mvdt2402 24 inch. I have tried 3 new remotes and used the codes given NOTHEN WORKs

Try using code search to find something that works. If a search through all codes stored in the remote fails, you may have to try a different universal remote. All universal remotes do not contain all possible codes.

0483,0481,0488,0497 are the codes to check. If you wish to get more setup codes, three digits, four digits or five digit ones, check this link. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and setup instructions to some popular model remote controls are given. Select the 'Timeslide' option from the drop-down list by the 'Sidebar' at the display window. It will make search easy.

Yeah, I totally just managed to get one of those $5 universal GE remotes from Walmart to work with this. No issues.

since most of the disney TVs are manufactured by memorex company ..... from your universal remote control's manual check the codes for memorex brand & try it .... if you don't have manual for your universal remote then from this link http://www.remotecentral.com/features/remotes.htm identify your universal remote & in that check codes for memorex brand & try it .... while searching answer for your question i have found that many people have same problem that is code for universal remote ..... but they never got right answer ......... & also neither same original remote control nor equivalent remote control is available (spare ) ...... so in case if you don't get right code then consider selling of this TV & buying new tv ...........

If you have tried all the codes the manual has it may be the remote does not support your model. Here is a lin to a remote I think will work on ebay:

You also can try another universal reote brand that might support your unit. Hope this helps.

I finally found a code that works. Code 3144 worked. I am using the RCA universal remote control RCR412S and RCA DVD player DRC200N. The code 3144 is listed under Memorex in the code book that came with the remote control.

Hey I have the same situation Go to MR REMOTE.com and give them your tv model usually will have a new manufacture remote under $30.00 ( just add Batteries and it works)no codes to enter!) I think the Memorex is lacking on the universal codes Especially for the DVD/TV/VCR combos
