IPhone - Cannot connect to YouTube

ok i only have an ipod touch but i figure its close to the same as the iphone. all i did was went in and set my time and date to the real time and date. some how the date was set to 2005 and i thinks hat was creating a certificate error. so far this is the quickest fix for the problem i have found.

note: my ipod is JAILBROKEN and it is currently running firmware 1.1.1

I have been having a very hard time with my iphone not connecting to YouTube as well. I finally got it working!!
Here is what I did:
1) restore back to 1.1.4
2) When Itunes asks for restoring or New phone, PRESS EJECT
3) Use iliberty to hack the phone but make sure that ONLY jailbreak me and installer is selected
4) After the hack is over
5) Restart Itunes and select the Iphone as being New

Hope this works for you guys!!!

delete any folder called Lockdown or Lockdown_bak and then get a back up copy of the folder Lockdown from another working iphone and copy and paste back in to (/private/var/root/Library)...then power cycle...and that's it =D"


That works very good on my iphone 1.1.4 JAILBREAK DO IT ALL with Ziphone 3.0

I FINALLY GOT YOUTUBE WORKING...
Step 1: backup your settings and files on itunes
Step 2: restore iphone to default
Step 3: try Youtube before Jailbreak to make sure its working
Step 4: ***important*** run ziphone for JAILBREAK only!
YouTUBE remains working. when I tried to DO-IT-ALL youtube never worked afterwards.
Step 5: Sync iphone to get your settings, contacts, emails back

settings > general > reset > reset all network settings.

just had the same problem and it worked for me.

SSH into your phone and goto (/private/var/root/Library/Lockdown/) and remove all the files in the ("activation_records" and "pair_records") folders. Reboot and try......

Worked for me on 1.1.3 Jail broken FW.

I tried it on 1.1.4 jailbroken fw and it didnt work SORRY!!!! :(

Just install mxtube! It works fine. I haven't had any crashes or problems with it.

Just download MXtube. then do a search for anything and youll see that it works.
