Easy, FireWire.
Connect the 2 with a firewire cable. If reading off the laptop, for example, reboot it & hold the T key down while it boots up. A large firewire symbol shows on the screen indicating FireWire Target Mode. The laptop should be showing up as a firewire drive on the other Mac.

MBP intel graphics not working?

To test, use an external dongle. If you get something showing, the board is good and the screen/connection are bad. If nothing, then the logic board is probably bad.

My old laptop screen goes black when it is tilted back. Why does this happen

if it works at certain angles and not others, it's probably a damaged connection to the screen. Whether it be caused by physical damage or manufacture flaw.
If it doesn't work at all, it could still be damaged connection or the video card could be bad. I'd suggest attempting to connect it to an external monitor to see if it will display to the monitor.

Wobbly screen on mac laptop

are you using a Mac Mini-DVI to DVI adapter or any adapters? This is a VGA video output type of KVM switch so probably the problem is with the adapters involved to it.

My Daughter's New Laptop's Internet Connection

Make sure that the Local area connection is enabled or installed properly. Also Cable ISP such as charter registers the MAC address of the main pc on their system that is why it will not recognize your daughters laptop. You can contact charter so they can register the mac address of her NIC on their system.

Monitor non functional

Am I correct in understanding that your MacBook is operating properly, but when you attach your external monitor it doesn't show anything?
I often connect my black MacBook 2GHz to my flat screen's VGA port. Sometime the screen doesn't respond for one reason or another. The fastest solution is typically to mirror the screens then return to normal. When that doesn't work, it's usually enough to restart the MacBook while it's still plugged in to the external monitor. If neither of those work, try connecting to a different monitor or finally try replacing the connector.
Unfortunately those connectors don't have the best life spans. (See Apple's customer reviews on DVI connectors.)

USB external modem

The phone connection would need to go through the blue tooth regardless of if you're using the phone connection or not. Check to see that you have bluetooth turned on and setup first. Then you'll need to use that to create the settings for using the phone as a modem. However, if you are using Windows on your Mac, you will need to make sure that your computer has the drivers installed to be able to both connect to the Internet and to connect to your phone. Once that is set up, you still need to go through the steps to use bluetooth to connect your phone to your computer, establishing a connection. There are quite a few articles about creating connections through your phone as a modem. http://mobileoffice.about.com/od/typesofaccessavailable/ht/bluetoothphone.htm
