Question about Coby MP-C951 Digital Media Player
Got it from ebay brand new,but the first thing that i've noticed it was that the only 2 files that you are NOT suposed to delete were missing...tryed everything, reset, format, firmware upgrade...still not works when i start it up..it jumps to recording and nothing works from there...if anyone has those files...or a solution..please help me
I'm afraid I don't have a solution. I will see if I can copy those files from my player to my computer, and then I might be able to email them to you.
The only comment I can make is once my player started recording when I turned it on and I discovered I'd plugged the headphones into the wrong hole in the top. I'd plugged it into the line in and I believe it was trying to treat my headphones as Microphones! ((It detected some small signal and started recording "automagically"))
I'll see if I can copy those files.

Easy fix, you have to open up the player, there is a cable that connects the hard drive and the circuit board, it becomes loose, please just reattach and try again.
