You have got 2 choices.
1. Replace to LCD screen, get a repairman to do it for you or do it yourself. If you want to DIY and purchase a new screen have a look at www.lcdpart.com
2. If you don't want to replace the screen then connect an external monitor to the laptop, then it won't be portable.

Hi,
As this is a total hardware issue and it needs to get repaired, please contact your computer manufacturer and get it repaired if it is under warranty or else if you have an external monitor you can connect it with a VGA or an SVIDEO cable.
