Micro SD card

The external memory of your mobile phone, is made of a small memory card. The most used model of memory card is the Micro SD one.
Depending on the capacity of your card, you can store on it your favorite songs, photos, videos, documents and others.
The memory card has the role of expanding your internal memory of the mobile phone, allowing you to put a lot of data.
Depending on the memory card you use, you can put it into an adapter, and then use it to transfer songs, photos, videos, etc. from your card to your computer. So, the memory card will have the same role as an memory stick. The difference between the memory card and the memory stick is the size, and that the card can be used for mobile phones while the stick cannot.
Some mobile phones can save the contacts and the messages you have on your sim card or in your phone internal memory.

I cant transfer my ringtones from my san disk to my phone

Hi chad0872,

First and foremost, you can't do anything if you don't have all of the components needed to do the job. You will definitely need a computer. More importantly, you will also need a Micro SanDisk and TransFlash to SanDisk adapter. The Micro SanDisk is a very small device, approximately the size of a chip. The disk is placed in your phone to store your phone's items for transfer. The TransFlash to SanDisk adapter is used to access the SanDisk files on your computer. Your SanDisk should be at least 256MB for sufficient storage space.
Once you've established and obtained everything you need, you can now begin the initial transfer process. Insert your Micro SanDisk into the phone where your ringtones are stored. Access the Media Folder or Content Management folder in the phone. Highlight each ringtone file you want to transfer. Open the Options' section available for the ringtones and opt to move your ringtones from the phone's storage to the memory card. Once the transfer process is complete, remove the memory card from the phone
Now that you have moved your ringtones to the Micro SanDisk, place the Micro SanDisk into the TransFlash SanDisk. Insert the TransFlash SanDisk into your computer. This expandable memory slot can usually be found in the from of most laptops and next to the USB slots on the front panel of desktop model computers. Once the insertion is detected, your computer's AutoPlay dialog window will appear or an import options will be given. When the ringtones' window opens, drag and drop the ringtone files from your Micro SanDisk to your computer's desktop screen. Then transfer it to your phone,,,,

good luck with your fix,,,
have a nice day,,

My 512 MB Micro SD memory card is locked

Recently I wrote an article to recover deleted SMS from mobile phones . Here is another related one ,which deals with memory card password . We can use the same software that we used in the above case to recover memory card password from mobile phones .

Method 1 : Recover memory card password , using Fexplorer.

As I said, we need Fexplorer for this mobile hack .After installation , Browse to c:\system folder in your mobile phone . Here you would find a file mmcstore .This file is actually used to store memory card passwords in a mobile phone . Rename this file to mmcstore.txt and open with notepad . Now you will see the memory card password as it is ,exactly .

Method 2 :Unlock memory card passwords of Nokia Nseries and Eseries phones

The first hack to recover the password of memory cards will not work on Nokia Nseries and Nokia Eseries devices . Here we will use the remote lock feature for re-setting the password . For this , go to your pones settings >Security >Phone and SIM> and then allow Remote lock . The password of your remote lock will be the password of your memory card .So if you want to change the memory card password , just send an SMS containing your remote lock message .

I have lg kp265 mobile phone and i bought a sandisk micro sd card for it, but i can't copy any music to it, it say's wrong parameter. i haven't tried pictures yet, but it won't work in either mass storage...

you either have to format the memory card, or the memory card is too big for the phone, i find most phones will only take upto 1g worth of expandle memory.

My memory stick stopped being recognised after 1 - 2 months

my micro sd behaved similarly. first try to format it through the phone it self. it helped me. another thing that might help is to use a fast micro sd card. first i used Sandisk calss 2, than when i went to buy a 8gb card i could choose between a sandisk class 2 or another unknown company that card at class 6 at the same price. i took the class 6 one. from then i didnt have any mpre problems.

My phone will not recognize my micro sd chip. i have already formatted the chip but it stil does not read it. can yo help

If you are using a Micro SD card, you are using the wrong one. Unfortunately, Sony has a vested interest in promoting their own proprietary formats, (anyone remember BetaMax?), and the TM506 is no exception. This phone uses a Sony Memory Stick Micro (M2). You may obtain these in most camera, computer and electronic stores that sell Sony products. SanDisk also makes the M2 cards. Not sure if other memory card makers do as well.
